As a Residential Realtor at ERG, you will be responsible for assisting clients in buying and selling residential properties. You will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the real estate transaction process, leveraging your market expertise, negotiation skills, and exceptional customer service to meet our clients' needs. This is an exciting opportunity to help individuals and families with their most valuable assets while building a successful career in the real estate industry.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their home buying or selling needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Property Search: Conduct thorough market research to identify suitable properties for clients based on their criteria.
  • Property Listings: Create and maintain listings of residential properties for sale, ensuring accurate and appealing descriptions.
  • Showings: Arrange and conduct property showings for clients, providing detailed information and answering questions.
  • Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate purchase offers, counteroffers, and contract terms to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on local real estate market trends and conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Paperwork: Assist clients in completing all necessary paperwork for real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Networking: Develop and maintain a network of real estate professionals, including mortgage lenders, inspectors, and appraisers.

 

Prerequisites:

  • Active real estate license in Massachusetts.
  • Previous experience as a Residential Realtor is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of the local real estate market and neighborhoods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to advocate for clients' interests.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented.
  • Proficient in real estate software and tools.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

 

Mandatory Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Commercial real estate transactions offer the opportunity to work with different types of business clients and help them achieve their business goals as they start, grow or relocate. Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify potential commercial real estate clients and properties.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, landlords, and tenants.
  • Manage and negotiate lease and sale agreements for commercial properties.
  • Provide excellent customer service and guidance to clients throughout the transaction process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the success of team objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions to advise clients accordingly.

 

Prerequisites:

  • Active Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson or Broker’s License.
  • Minimum of two years real estate experience with a record of previous sales.
  • Must be willing to gain a professional understanding of commercial leasing, specifically as it relates to Retail, Office, Medical and Industrial property types.
  • Familiarity with Eastern Massachusetts.
  • Critical thinking negotiation skills with excellent time management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to understand current market conditions.
  • Ability to recognize sales, development and financial trends as well as understand the benefits of off-market opportunities.
  • Willingness to be involved in community functions, committees and actively network with local business owners and prospective landlords & tenants.
  • Ability to attend bi-weekly sales meetings to share ideas and exchange information between other agents.
  • Must be self-motivated with strong character, confidence and resourceful thinking.
  • Desire to learn and grow in the commercial real estate industry.
  • Property Management experience is a plus.
