Commercial Real Estate Marketing/Leasing Assistant

Summary:

Our commercial real estate office is looking for an entry-level Marketing/Leasing Assistant who is excited to learn about commercial real estate and has long-term aspirations to work in the industry.

This position will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to assist the marketing department with various campaigns, while also gaining hands-on sales and leasing skills.

The Marketing/Leasing Assistant will report to the Marketing Director, Property Manager, and Managing Partner and will be responsible for taking on a variety of marketing and leasing tasks with guidance from department heads.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, Edit, and Analyze data for marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director on creating marketing content for a variety of channels
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Update spreadsheets, databases, website, CRM’s, digital media and signage
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
  • Edit marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc.) to maintain up to date listing information and new marketing material.
  • Facilitate print & digital collateral, including photo management
  • Assist the property management team updating listings
  • Audit property listings through a variety of listing services and websites
  • Conduct property tours for prospective residents
  • Manage incoming phone and internet leads promptly
  • Assist in planning community events/open houses
  • Assist in negotiating leasing terms and completing agreements
  • Handle tenant relations, vendor correspondence
  • Manage database and help prepare move in/move out packets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or another related field
  • 1+ years’ experience working in sales, customer service, marketing or advertising
  • Valid and active Real Estate License
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office necessary. Understanding of Appfolio a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, etc) a plus
  • Experience with CRM/Listing software like Buildout/Costar/Crexi/MLS
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • Must be able to travel to offsite locations with their own transportation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Well-organized with a team-oriented approach and a high level of attention to detail.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend Availability
  • Some weekday evenings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
